Adding a tossed green said to any meal is a great way to increased your vegetables. Dark leafy said greens are packed with nutrition. The darker the leaves, the better. I like to use pre-washed, mixed greens. They already have done the mixing and washing for you. Experiment with your in order to find your favorite combinations.
- 3 tablespoons oil of choice (extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, or walnut oil)
- 1 tablespoon vinegar of choice (choose from red wine, white wine, balsamic, apple cider, raspberry etc.)
- pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper
- Whisk the oil and the vinegar together until combined. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add additional ingredients, if desired.
